Before approximately 6 years I became acquainted with Dieter Ennemoser und his C37 crew and was immediately inspired by their idea. But my question was: Is cardboard still the best material for diaphragms? No, it is not. Wood was the answer. Who would build an instrument from cardboard? It had to build however still nobody created a wood diaphragm as stable and light as it is possible from cardboard. I am a carpenter, and my researcher spirit waked it to be tried immediately. After several years in which I tried different materials and production methods I found the way to build a speaker which sounds even better than a C37-cardboard-unit. Magnet and chassis are original C37-Parts.
