- H Samsung παρουσίασε πάνελ OLED 40 ιντσών -

Κατά την διάρκεια του διεθνούς συμποσίου της SID (Society for Information Display) η Samsung παρουσίασε το επόμενο βήμα στις emissive οθόνες. Πρόκειται για ένα πάνελ 40 ιντσών τεχνολογίας Active Matrix OLED (organic light-emitting diode) με ανάλυση 1280x800 (σχεδόν 16:9) και πολύ μικρό βάθος, που θα επιτρέψει στους κατασκευαστές να παρουσιάσουν συσκευές που δεν θα ξεπερνούν τα 30 χιλιοστά.

και επίσης παρουσιάστηκαν οθόνες γι ακινητά με μιδαμινή σχεδόν κατανάλωση.

Samsung uses the International Meeting on Information Display 2005 conference, currently held in Seoul, to show its most recent devices.
