The Musical Technology C-1 LINE CONTROL UNIT is actually two completely independent monoaural preamplifiers, to achieve absolute channel separation. It consists of two separate components: the audio circuitry chassis and the DC power supply chassis. Transformers, filament supply circuits and the pre- regulated plate supplies are housed in a separate chassis to eliminate hum fields from the audio circuits. No Transistor or Fet is used in the audio circuit.

The Musical Technology C-2 Line Control Unit is actually TWO completely independent MONOAURAL PREAMPLIFIERS, to achieve absolute channel separation. The result is a more precise imaging, a better and enhanced soundstage.
