Opus 3 Cantus parallel tracking arm

Candela Valve Amplifiers
Candela is symmetrically designed and balanced. It is not sensitive to power line disturbances or electrical fields.
The design goals are to attain short signal paths and minimal signal processing. The amplifier is hand-built and "hardwired". The components included are of the highest quality.
The input stage is based on two 2493s, the long-life version of ECC 88, and are configured as two cascodes in differential operation. The output stage is based on two 5881s, the audio version of 6L6GC working in push-pull mode with the C-core output transformer.
The design is intended to promote reliable operation, long life for the product, and demand a minimum of service.
