Δεν θα έχουν πλέον Faroudja κι επομένως τέλος το MB.
Όλα θα κάνουν upscale σε HDMI και θα υποστηρίζουν την έκδοση HDMI 1.2.
Το 3930 θα χρησιμοποιεί το Silicon Optix Realta T2 chip (HQV) και θα κάνει upscale μέχρι 1080p.
Το 2930 θα χρησιμοποιεί το νέο SI Reon chip θα κάνει upscale σε 1080i αλλά θα παίζει και 1080p.
Λέγεται επίσης ότι θα παίζουν όλα DivX/Xvid και θα είναι universal players.
Το Reon φαίνεται να είναι μια πιο φθηνή έκδοση του Realta. Από το site της SO:
"Reon-VX supports a comprehensive video and graphics processing feature set, providing a highly integrated, cost-effective solution for mainstream consumer products. Key features include dual independent video or graphics inputs, fully automatic 1080i-to-1080p de-interlacing with 3:2/2:2 pull-down, advanced scaling and frame rate conversion, advanced PIP/PAP/POP view modes, bitmapped OSD, an integrated ARM CPU and gamma correction for high quality image output."

Επίσης η Denon υποστηρίζει το BD κι ανακοίνωσε ότι δεν θα βγάλει BD player πριν το καλοκαίρι του 2007. Πιθανόν θα θέλει να δει που γέρνει η πλάστιγγα...
