Zack Snyder teases a Deathstroke scene from Justice League

Exactly one month ago, Batman himself, Ben Affleck, posted a mysterious video online revealing that the assassin Deathstroke would be appearing in the upcoming Justice League movie. Now, director Zack Snyder has posted a photo from the set that (as pointed out by @TheDCEU Twitter account) reveals a set of storyboards for a scene with the character set to be played by Joe Manganiello.

What is interesting to note about the scene in question is who Deathstroke is talking to. Though we can’t see their face, that cueball head certainly makes it look like Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor. Check out the image below!

First look at Amber Heard as Mera in Justice League!

Production on Justice League has officially wrapped in the UK and moved to the cold waters of Iceland, where photography appears to be filming the above-water scenes for Aquaman’s hometown of Amnesty Bay. Now, the studio has released (via IGN) the first look at actress Amber Heard as Aquaman’s wife and queen, Mera! Check out the photo below along with some concept art and a video on the costume design.

Steppenwolf: Ciarán Hinds cast as Justice League’s big bad

Zack Snyder‘s Justice League has revealed its big bad as TheWrap today reports that Ciarán Hinds has joined the cast of the DC Comics film. He’ll play the superhero ensemble’s chief antagonist, Steppenwolf. According to the outlet, Steppenwolf is a performance capture character and his final look will differ from the version fans already saw in a deleted Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice clip.

Created by Jack Kirby, Steppenwolf has been the leader of Darkseid’s army of Apokolips since he debuted in 1972’s “New Gods” #7. A member of the New Gods, Steppenwolf has an extensive history in the DCU including fights with Doomsday, The Flash, and lesser known villains like Clock King.

Hinds is known to many as Mance Rayder on HBO‘s Game of Thrones, while his many big screen roles include hits like Munich and Road to Perdition. He also lent his voice to Disney‘s Frozen and played Aberforth Dumbledore (brother to Albus) in the final Harry Potter film.

New Justice League photo brings half the team together

Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new photo from the upcoming Justice League movie (via EW) featuring Batman, Wonder Woman, and The Flash all together! Star Ezra Miller also broke down the dynamic of the group, saying:

“Flash is Ringo Starr, he annoys everybody, but he doesn’t have any specific beef with anyone…Uncle Fish Curry (Aquaman])is very grumpy. Dad (Batman) gets grumpy too. Wonder Woman is very considerate, so even though she’s annoyed with the Flash, she’s still very compassionate.”

Zack Snyder Teases a Heavily Armed Justice League Batmobile

While some have criticized Batman’s use of firearms in the recent Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice as a betrayal of the character’s ideology, other fans have embraced Ben Affleck‘s more violent take on the Dark Knight. Now, with a new Justice League Batmobile image today posted to Vero, director Zack Snyder suggests that Justice League will very much continue to depict the latter side of Batman. As you can see from the new image, the Justice League Batmobile appears to have great firepower than we’ve ever seen on the big screen before.
