Tα γράφω εδώ καθώς τα eREVS είναι ηλεκτρικά οχήματα με γεννήτρια ηλεκτρικής ενέργειας.

Αν εβαζαν και κανενα φουρφουρι (δικην ανεμογεννητριας) στη θεση του ψυγειου των θερμικων, δεν θα εξοικονομουσαν και απο κει καμμια 500ρια χλμ αυτονομια ?

The first diesel motorship was also the first diesel–electric ship, the Russian tanker Vandal from Branobel, which was launched in 1903. Steam turbine–electric propulsion has been in use since the 1920s (Tennessee-class battleships), using diesel–electric powerplants in surface ships has increased lately. The Finnish coastal defence ships Ilmarinen and Väinämöinen laid down in 1928–1929, were among the first surface ships to use diesel–electric transmission. Later, the technology was used in diesel powered icebreakers.[citation needed]

In World War II, the United States Navy built diesel–electric surface warships. Due to machinery shortages destroyer escorts of the Evarts and Cannon classes were diesel–electric, with half their designed horsepower (The Buckley and Rudderow classes were full-power steam turbine–electric).[2] The Wind-class icebreakers, on the other hand, were designed for diesel–electric propulsion because of its flexibility and resistance to damage.[3][4]

Some modern diesel–electric ships, including cruise ships and icebreakers, use electric motors in pods called azimuth thrusters underneath to allow for 360° rotation, making the ships far more maneuverable. An example of this is Symphony of the Seas, the largest passenger ship as of 2019.[5]

Gas turbines are also used for electrical power generation and some ships use a combination: Queen Mary 2 has a set of diesel engines in the bottom of the ship plus two gas turbines mounted near the main funnel; all are used for generating electrical power, including those used to drive the propellers. This provides a relatively simple way to use the high-speed, low-torque output of a turbine to drive a low-speed propeller, without the need for excessive reduction gearing.

Honda crv phev αν δεν κάνω λάθος δουλεύει κατά κύριο ως semirev που περιγράφηκε παραπάνω.
Το ίδιο περίπου κάνει και το rav4 καθώς η «τετρακίνηση» του είναι με ηλεκτρικό μοτέρ στον πίσω άξονα.

μπορεί και παραπάνω από 95% , μη σου πω το 99%
ηλεκτροπρόωση έχουν τα κρουαζιερόπλοια και κάποια (λίγα) πολεμικά (υποβρύχια, αεροπλανοφόρα (λόγω πυρηνικού αντιδραστήρα) και πλοία ανθυποβρυχιακού πολέμου)

Για την προηγούμενη συζήτηση Mercedes vs Κίνα.

Εχω οδηγήσει A-class και B-class σε διάφορες χρονολογίες και εκδόσεις. Ευχαρίστως τα συγκρίνω με ένα σύγχρονο ηλεκτρικό BYD, και λόγω της διαφοράς κόστους με τα ηλεκτρικά Mercedes πιθανόν να έκανα την τράμπα από θερμικό A-class σε BYD ηλεκτρικό. Με επιφυλάξεις για το αποτέλεσμα σε βάθος χρόνου.
Αλλά από μεγάλο Mercedes ή BMW και Porsche, δύσκολα κοιτάς κινέζο.
Δεν το σκέφτομαι καν.
Θα κοιτάξω ηλεκτρικό από premium εταιρεία.

Μπορεί σε άλλον να ταιριάζει η ιδέα, αλλά νομίζω πως η συντριπτική πλειοψηφία με μεγάλα γερμανικά Luxury αυτοκίνητα δεν πλησιάζουν κινέζο.

Απλώς δείτε την EQE του @rose.athens και τα ξαναλέμε.

Δεν είναι αυτά τα μοντέλα που έκαναν τη Mercedes το brand που είναι και σαφώς δεν αφορά το hard core target group της εταιρείας.

Υπάρχει γενικά σύγχυση του engineering vs marketing και οι περισσότεροι απαξιούν το δεύτερο ΚΥΡΙΩΣ γιατί δεν ξέρουν τι σημαίνει .

Και έχεις δίκιο γιατί οι περισσότεροι που αγοράζουν αυτά τα αυτοκίνητα δεν τα αγοράζουν ούτε για την ποιότητά τους (χωρίς να σημαίνει ότι δεν είναι ποιοτικά), ούτε για την οδήγησή τους, ούτε τίποτα σχετικό. Όλοι γνωρίζουμε γιατί τα αγοράζουν. Οι περισσότεροι, ξαναλέω.

Οπότε μέχρι να αποκτήσει (αν αποκτήσει ποτέ) και μια κινέζικη μάρκα το status που έχει η Mercedes et.al., ένα μεγάλο μερίδιο αγοραστών δεν πρόκειται να γυρίσει να τα κοιτάξει ποτέ, όσο κι αν περάσουν μπροστά τεχνολογικά.

Αυτά τα eREV τι κατανάλωση έχουν; Φαντάζομαι κάτι ενδιάμεσο από ένα συνηθισμένο αυτοκίνητο με κινητήρα εσωτερικής καύσης, και ένα καθαρά ηλεκτροκίνητο, με φόρτιση από πρίζα; Πάντως αυτά μου φαίνονται ιδανική λύση, και λύνουν πολλά προβλήματα (αυτονομίας, χρόνου φόρτισης σε ταξιδια και διαδρομές, σταθμών φόρτισης, φόρτισης σε σπίτι που δεν θα χρειάζεται, κλπ).

H VW Κίνας ακυρώνει κάθε μελλοντική πλατφόρμα ΜΕΒ για να χρησιμοποιεί της XPENG. Οπότε ένα ηλεκτρικό VW που θα διατίθεται στην Κινεζικη αγορά θα έχει πλατφόρμα XPENG, ηλεκτρονικά XPENG, λογικά και λογισμικό XPENG ή άλλο Κινέζικο αφού έχει αγοράσει τοπική εταιρεία, μπαταρία από Κίνα, ίσως και μοτέρ. Καταπληκτικό Γερμανικό όχημα.
