Μόνο μια demo της Sharp "Beyond 4K" φτάνει το 100% του DCI-P3 και το 70% του ΒΤ.2020.

The Rec.709 color space, however, only represents a portion of the colors that the human eye can see. A wider color space is DCI-P3 and an even larger one is Rec.2020, which the industry hopes to achieve by the time the calendar year changes to 2020.

In this year’s OLED TVs, LG reached around 90% of DCI-P3. It is not listed on the specifications sheet but it mostly likely will be featured next year. LG tells us that it will hit "99% DCI-P3 next year" on OLED TVs for the consumer market. These TVs will be capable of reproducing more vivid and natural colors, just like cinemas.

The next step will be Rec.2020 but LG does not want to comment on that just yet.

Θα είναι UHD? ή θα μας σερβίρουν τίποτα upscale? θα το δούμε στα specs? δηλαδή 10bit color, και rec2020? και εάν είναι εντάξει σε αυτά, που θα παίξουν, αφού ούτε οι τηλεοράσεις, ούτε οι προβολείς 4κ έχουν ανάλογα χαρακτηριστικά?
Έχω την εντύπωση (μπορεί να κάνω λάθος ο Κώστας ξέρει καλύτερα), ότι πάλι θα μας σερβίρουν μ@μ@κίες! ή τουλάχιστον δεν θα βλέπουμε αυτά που πρέπει!!!

Κάποιες που γυρίστηκαν σε 2k θα είναι upscale, άλλες θα είναι 4k. Όλες για αρχή θα είναι σε P3 και λογικά θα υποστηρίζουν ένα universal hdr format με optional κάποια άλλα (dolby hdr κλπ).
Καλύτερα από hd θα είναι νομίζω.
