Watchmen Cast Confirmed!


Patrick Wilson,
Jackie Earle Haley
Matthew Goode
Billy Crudup
Jeffrey Dean Morgan ("Grey's Anatomy")
and Malin Akerman

will star in the Warner Bros. movie, which Zack Snyder is directing. Larry Gordon, Lloyd Levin and Deborah Snyder are producing.


Haley will play Walter Kovacs, aka Rorschach, who ignores the ban on costumed vigilantes.

Crudup will play Dr. Manhattan, a superpowered being with godlike powers and temperament.

Akerman will play Laurie Juspeczyk/the Silk Spectre, who is involved with Dr. Manhattan -- but that relationship begins to fall apart as he becomes more disconnected from humanity.

Goode will play Adrian Veidt/Ozymandias, a costumed adventurer who retired voluntarily, disclosed his identity and built a large fortune. He hatches a plot to avert a global catastrophe he believes will be caused by Dr. Manhattan.

Wilson will play the Nite-Owl, a crime-figher who uses technical wizardry and has an owl-shaped flying vehicle.

Morgan will play the Comedian, a cigar-chomping, gun-toting vigilante-turned-paramilitary agent.

Warcraft Movie Details!

Aναμενομενο ηταν να γινει και αυτο το παιχνιδι ταινια !

οι παραγωγοι σχεδιαζουν να ειναι ετοιμο το 2009.

They confirmed that the Warcraft movie will be live-action with a yet to be determined level of CG environments and effects. They are still planning for a 2009 release.


Sams, Metzen and Jashni said they did not want to "create another video game movie" but to "create an epic." The script is still in the works and there is no director yet, but they did confirm the story would take place about a year before the events in "World of Warcraft" take place. The film will be told from the Alliance perspective.

Monopoly is still the most popular board game -- I might be misquoting! -- in the world. So it's really finding the universe for that game. Because clearly it ought to be humorous and for the family -- the funny way it brings out, particularly when your uncle suddenly gets Park Lane and -- in England, we have Park Lane, Mayfair and Barclay Square, what's it in America? Park and Madison? So you watch people change. You're witness to Jekyll and Hyde. Somewhere in that is a hysterically amusing and I think rather exciting film.

THE HOBBIT

H New Line Cinema τροφοδοτεί τις ελπίδες των φαν του The Lord of the Rings που θέλουν τον Peter Jackson να αναλαμβάνει και την σκηνοθεσία του The Hobbit.

Η εταιρεία λοιπόν προσπαθεί να τα ξαναβρει με τον σκηνοθέτη που της έκανε μηνύση επειδή θεώρησε ότι δεν τηρήθηκε η συμφωνία για το μερίδιο του επί των κερδρών της τριλογίας.

Σε ερώτηση των δημοσιογράφων, εκπρόσωπος της εταιρείας δήλωσε ότι προσπαθούν να λύσουν τα προβλήματα με τον σκηνοθέτη και ότι θα ήθελαν πολύ να τον δούν να αναμειγνύεται στην παραγωγή του The Hobbit.
