David Fincher to Direct Black Hole - Charles Burns' graphic novel

Variety reports that David Fincher will direct Black Hole for Paramount Pictures. Alexandre Aja was previously attached to direct.

Based on Charles Burns' graphic novel, the project was set up at MTV Films but will now be developed at the parent studio. Roger Avary and Neil Gaiman were tapped to adapt the screenplay in March 2006.

This is how the book is described:

Suburban Seattle, the mid-1970s. We learn from the out-set that a strange plague has descended upon the area's teenagers, transmitted by sexual contact. The disease is manifested in any number of ways - from the hideously grotesque to the subtle (and concealable) - but once you've got it, that's it. There's not turning back.

As we inhabit the heads of several key characters - some kids who have it, some who don't, some who are about to get it - what unfolds isn't the expected battle to fight the plague, or bring heightened awareness to it , or even to treat it. What we become witness to instead is a fascinating and eerie portrait of the nature of high school alienation itself - the savagery, the cruelty, the relentless anxiety and ennui, the longing for escape.

And then the murders start.

Michael Bay Taking on the 2012 Apocalypse

Variety has confirmed the report that Michael Bay and friends will soon be working on 2012: The War for Souls, a very far away movie. Joining bay are writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, who are currently working on the script for Star Trek XI.

The story follows an academic researcher who opens a portal into a parallel universe and makes contact with his double in order to stop an apocalypse foreseen by the ancient Mayans.

The only official confirmation is that Warner Brothers did secure the rights, but Bay and his writers are still "in talks", as always, but that means they're likely to eventually be signed on more than backed out. The whole year 2012 apocalypse thing has been around for a while, well, since the Mayans, and means that this could become a pretty immense movie if they do it right.

James Cameron's Avatar (2009) update

One of the few people we're desperately in need of an update from is James Cameron, who is currently working on his sci-fi 3D movie Avatar. Thankfully Harry from AICN got in touch with him just yesterday and he talked about all the latest with Avatar, including how technically complex and time consuming it is, and also how groundbreaking it just may be. This sounds like an animated Pixar project - they're already two years in and have a year and a half to go of actual work as they prepare for its release in December of 2009.

Cameron says ,things are going well on Avatar, or at least as well as can be expected on such a ridiculously complex project. We've wrapped principal, and most of the live action portion of the movie is already cut. It's starting to look and sound like a movie. I'm ecstatic with the performances and the look. The cast chemistry worked out perfectly.

You can see how spread out the schedule is — it's just the nature of this type of CG animation/live action hybrid. Most of my time now is spent editing, because on this type of film you edit every CG scene twice — once to edit the raw performance capture, before it goes to virtual camera, and then again when you have the virtual camera shots, you do the final edit of the scene. It's very complex and taxing, but the result is amazing. The Weta animators are ON FIRE, and seeing the world and the creatures come to life is what keeps us going.

There's a spirit on this film, an esprit de corps amongst the virtual team, that comes from knowing we're doing something absolutely groundbreaking. It's why people still have good morale after working on this thing for two years or more. And we still have more than a year and a half to go. I don't know if this will be a good film, great film, awful film, but I can say with absolute certainty that you will see stuff you've never imagined, and that the process of making this film will generate a lot of interest within the technical side of the biz.

Terminator Salvation Set for May 22, 2009 Release

Warner Bros. Pictures has set a May 22, 2009 release date for Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, to be directed by McG and starring Christian Bale (The Dark Knight) and Sam Worthington (Avatar).

That puts it head-to-head with Fox's Night at the Museum 2: Escape From the Smithsonian on the same date. The studio had already staked out the May 22 release for the Ben Stiller sequel.

Warner will distribute the pic in North America through a deal with Halcyon Co., which owns all franchise rights to the "Terminator" series. Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group has acquired international distribution rights.

"Terminator Salvation" begins filming in New Mexico for two months on May 5. The film is part of a planned three-picture arc that begins after Skynet has destroyed much of humanity in a nuclear holocaust. A group of survivors led by John Connor (Bale) struggles to stop the machines.

Statham in Transporter 3 Confirmed

Variety has confirmed what we thought last month, that Jason Statham will reprise his role as Frank in Transporter 3, the next installment in EuropaCorp's franchise.

He will reteam with co-star Francois Berleand, while Robert Knepper ("Prison Break") has joined the cast.

As was reported last month, Louis Leterrier, who directed the first two pics, has been replaced by Olivier Megaton (Exit, The Red Siren), who was second-unit director on EuropaCorp's Hitman.

The film, which will be produced by EuropaCorp principal Luc Besson and Steve Chasman, will shoot for 16 weeks in Russia and France.

Full Speed Ahead for Justice League

Now that the writers strike has been resolved, Warner Bros. is pushing ahead with its plans to make Justice League in time for a 2009 debut, reports Variety.

Warners tried to get the big screen adaptation into production earlier, but put it on indefinite hold in January, allowing the cast options to expire. At the time, the studio said it didn't want to move ahead until the screenwriters had another shot at the script.

Writers Kieran and Michele Mulroney are busy polishing up the script, which is expected back at the studio in several weeks, and the cast has been advised to keep training for their superhero roles. Director George Miller is in pre-production in Australia.

Adam Brody, cast as the Flash, is the biggest star in the superhero lineup. Rapper Common nabbed the Green Lantern role; other roles went to lesser-known actors such as Armie Hammer Jr. (Batman) and Megan Gale (Wonder Woman).

The trade adds that Justice League, based on the DC Comic, is a huge priority for the studio and considered a launching pad for future superhero projects down the line.

Εληξαν τα γυρίσματα της ταινίας «Σκλάβοι στα δεσμά τους»

Με σκηνές στην πλατεία του Λιστόν στην Κέρκυρα έληξαν πριν από λίγες ημέρες τα γυρίσματα της ταινίας «Σκλάβοι στα δεσμά τους», του τελευταίου μυθιστορήματος του Κωνσταντίνου Θεοτόκη, που μεταφέρει στη μεγάλη οθόνη ο Τώνης Λυκουρέσης.

Με τη συνδρομή του δήμου της πόλης και περίπου 250 κατοίκων της Κέρκυρας που συμμετείχαν στα γυρίσματα, ολοκληρώθηκε η κινηματογράφηση της ιστορίας, στην οποία πρωταγωνιστούν ο Γιάννης Φέρτης, ο Χρήστος Λούλης, ο Ακης Σακελλαρίου, η Δήμητρα Ματσούκα και η Ειρήνη Ιγγλέση.

Οι «Σκλάβοι στα Δεσμά τους» που εκδόθηκαν το 1922 είναι ένα έργο πάνω στον κοινωνικό ιστό της Κέρκυρας των αρχών του αιώνα, που παρουσιάζει το πέρασμα από την αριστοκρατική στην αστική τάξη. Βασικός πυρήνας του βιβλίου όσο και του σεναρίου είναι η παλιά αριστοκρατική οικογένεια των Οφιομάχων που ζει το τέλος της κυριαρχίας της με κινήσεις απελπισίας και πανικού, οι οποίες δεν οδηγούν πουθενά. Ο πατέρας της οικογένειας την οδηγεί σε οικονομικό αδιέξοδο και η εποχή προβάλλει πλέον την κυριαρχία των αστών και το γέννημα του σοσιαλιστικού οράματος.

Η παραγωγή της ταινίας ολοκληρώνεται μέσα στις επόμενες εβδομάδες, ενώ η προβολή της στις κινηματογραφικές αίθουσες προγραμματίζεται για την επόμενη σεζόν.

Λίγοι είναι εκείνοι που το περίμεναν όμως το σκηνοθετικό ντεμπούτο των Alexandre Bustillo και Julien Maury ισοδυναμεί με μια τεράστια έκπληξη! Πρωταγωνιστεί η διάσημη Γαλλίδια ηθοποιός Μπεατρίς Νταλ, η οποία υποδύεται μια νεαρή γυναίκα που θρηνεί το χαμό του άντρα της την ώρα που ετοιμάζεται να φέρει στον κόσμο το παιδί του. Την ημέρα των Χριστουγέννων και ενώ την επομένη περιμένει να εισαχθεί στο μαιευτήριο για να γεννήσει, θα χτυπήσει το κουδούνι της πόρτας του σπιτιού της. Πίσω από αυτήν βρίσκεται μια μυστηριώδης γυναίκα, που θα την κυνηγήσει με σκοπό να της πάρει το παιδί…
Με γρήγορους ρυθμούς, απίστευτη ένταση και …πολύ splutter παρακολουθούμε εκστατικά μια άκρως αγωνιώδη ιστορία επιβίωσης, τέτοια που καιρό έχουμε να δούμε στο σινεμά. Χωρίς να μπορεί να κατηγορηθεί ότι αναπαράγει με άγευστο τρόπο διάφορα κλισέ που έχουμε συνηθίσει να μας βομβαρδίζουν σε τέτοιου είδους φιλμ, πρόκειται για μια εξαιρετικά απολαυστική ταινία που άφησε τις άριστες των εντυπώσεων. Το θερμότατο χειροκρότημα και η αποθέωση που γνώρισε στο τέλος της προβολής δεν είναι παρά η ένδειξη ότι το «Inside», μαζί με το «The Orphanage» που είδαμε πριν λίγες μέρες πάλι εδώ στις Κάνες, θα αποτελέσουν τα δύο κορυφαία θρίλερ που θα βγουν στις αίθουσες την επόμενη σεζόν…

Full Quantum of Solace Plot Synopsis Revealed

Quantum of Solace continues the high octane adventures of James Bond (Daniel Craig) in Casino Royale. Betrayed by Vesper, the woman he loved, 007 fights the urge to make his latest mission personal.

Ράιαν Ρέινολντς και Λιβ Σράιμπερ θα πλαισιώσουν μεταξύ άλλων τον Χιου Τζάκμαν στο πρίκουελ των X-men

Σύμφωνα με το Variety, ο Ράιαν Ρέινολντς θα συμμετέχει στην ταινία X-men Origins: Wolverine, που θα αφηγηθεί την ιστορία του μεταλλαγμένου Γουλβερίν 17 χρόνια πριν τα γεγονότα της τριλογίας και θα περιλαμβάνει μεταλλαγμένους ήρωες που δεν έχουν κάνει ακόμα την εμφάνισή τους. Ο Ρέινολντς, που είναι γνωστός από το τηλεοπτικό "Two guys and a girl", ενώ θα τον δούμε στη νέα ταινία της Τζούλια Ρόμπερτς, "Fireflies in the garden", θα υποδυθεί τον Deadpool, έναν δολοφόνο με θεραπευτικές ικανότητες.

Επίσης, στην ταινία θα εμφανιστεί ο γνωστός με το συγκρότημα Black Eyed Peas ράπερ will.i.am στο ρόλο του John Wraith, ο οποίος έχει τη δυνατότητα να διακτινίζεται, ενώ γερνάει με ιδιαίτερα αργούς ρυθμούς.

Έχει ήδη ανακοινωθεί η συμμετοχή του Τέιλορ Κιτς ως Gambit, του διάσημου μεταλλαγμένου από τα κόμικς, καθώς και αυτή του Λιβ Σράιμπερ ως Sabretooth, ενός από τους βασικούς αντιπάλους του Γουλβερίν.

Στον πρωταγωνιστικό ρόλο επιστρέφει ο Χιου Τζάκμαν, που έχει και χρέη παραγωγού. Τα γυρίσματα έχουν ήδη ξεκινήσει και η ταινία αναμένεται να κυκλοφορήσει τον Μάιο του 2009.

Ταινία για Ρίγκαν και Γκορμπατσόφ από τον Βρετανό σκηνοθέτη Ρίντλεϊ Σκοτ


Η σχέση του Ρόναλντ Ρίγκαν με τον Μιχαήλ Γκορμπατσόφ στο επίκεντρο της νέας ταινίας του Ρίντλεϊ Σκοτ

Σύμφωνα με δημοσιεύματα, μέσα στα επόμενα σχέδια του Βρετανού σκηνοθέτη Ρίντλεϊ Σκοτ είναι μία ταινία που θα εξιστορεί τις σχέσεις του πρώην πρόεδρου των ΗΠΑ, Ρόναλντ Ρίγκαν, με τον πρώην αρχηγό της Σοβιετικής Ένωσης Μιχαήλ Γκορμπατσόφ.

Πιο συγκεκριμένα, το σενάριο επικεντρώνεται στη σύνοδο κορυφής που έλαβε χώρα το 1986 στο Ρέικιαβικ της Ισλανδίας.

Η συνάντηση αυτή θεωρείται ιστορική επειδή, παρόλο που δεν κατέληξε σε κάποια συμφωνία, προετοίμασε το έδαφος για τη συνθήκη αφόπλισης των πυρηνικών τον επόμενο χρόνο.

"Ήθελα να δείξω ποιοι ήταν και γιατί έκαναν ό,τι έκαναν. Οι πράξεις τους διαμόρφωσαν την ιστορία, ανοίγοντας το δρόμο για το τέλος του Ψυχρού Πολέμου", εξήγησε ο σκηνοθέτης. Όσον αφορά την επιλογή ηθοποιών, ο Σκοτ δήλωσε ότι η ομοιότητα με τα πρόσωπα είναι δευτερεύουσας σημασίας, αφού περισσότερο ενδιαφέρουν οι ερμηνευτικές δυνατότητες. "Πρέπει απλά να πετύχουμε τη φυσική παρουσία.

Ο Ρίγκαν ήταν ψήλος και κομψός, ενώ ο Γκορμπατσόφ ήταν πιο κοντός και γεροδεμένος, σαν παίκτης ράγκμπι. Κατά κάποιον τρόπο είναι πιο εύκολο να βρεθεί ηθοποιός για αυτόν, παρά για τον Ρίγκαν, που ήταν πιο ιδιαίτερος".

Οι παραγωγοί έχουν επισκεφθεί το Ρέικιαβικ για να βρουν τις τοποθεσίες που χρειάζονται και έχουν ήδη εξασφαλίσει την άδεια να κάνουν γυρίσματα στο σπίτι όπου έγινε η ιστορική συνάντηση.

Η ταινία, που δεν έχει ακόμα τίτλο, αναμένεται να βγει στους κινηματογράφους προς το τέλος του 2009.

Θα προηγηθεί το "Body of lies" το φθινόπωρο του 2008 σχετικά με έναν πρώην δημοσιογράφο, που ερευνά έναν εκ των αρχηγών της Αλ Κάιντα μετά την επιστροφή του από το Ιράκ, με τον Λεονάρντο Ντι Κάπριο και τον Ράσελ Κρόου στους πρωταγωνιστικούς ρόλους.

The Last Starfighter is Getting a Sequel ??

Josh Tyler over at Cinema Blend initially picked up a scoop on the sequel, supposedly titled Son of the Starfighter, from an anonymous emailer, but wasn't sure whether it was just a big rumor. The scooper reported that a production company called George Paige and Associates was already in pre-production on the film with shooting scheduled to begin next month. He also added that "it involves original director Nick Castle, writer Jonathan Betuel and actor Lance Guest. It's your basic Son of the Starfighter storyline and actually sounds pretty cool." Lance Guest did appear in the first movie as the teenager Alex Rogan, so it would make sense that they'd want him back, especially if they're considering a story involving his son.

Murder Set Pieces Μovie Banned by BBFC

TLA Releasing’s United Kingdom division has learned that the uncut version of 2004 Nick Palumbo film, MURDER SET PIECES has been rejected by the BBFC for classification. The fictional horror film about a fashion photographer who begins murdering Las Vegas prostitutes was scheduled for DVD release on March 31, 2008 through the company’s DANGER AFTER DARK label, which is dedicated to horror, fantasy and action genres.

“We are surprised by the BBFC’s decision to reject the film, which is obviously a work of fiction,” says Lewis Tice, National Press Liaison from TLA Releasing. “We question how this will affect independent films in general, which have always been a safe haven for filmmakers to present stories outside of mainstream entertainment.”

The BBFC’s decision arrived after Prime Minster Gordon Brown and conservative cross-party groups have recently begun public discussions about the social impact of violent films and videogames. Rejection by the BBFC means that MURDER SET PIECES can not be legally supplied anywhere in the United Kingdom but the uncut version has been released in Scandinavia, Spain and the Netherlands. The last DVD rejected by the BBFC was the pornographic film Struggle in Bondage in 2006 for scenes of naked women tied-up and gagged.

A press release outlined the primary concerns: “MURDER SET PIECES is a feature with a single-minded focus on the activities of a psychopathic sexual serial killer, who, throughout the film, is seen raping, torturing and murdering his victims. Young children are among those terrorized and killed, and their inclusion in this abusive context is an added concern. In relation to the adult victims, there is a clear focus on sex or sexual behavior accompanied by non-consensual pain, injury and humiliation.”

ΤΗΕ FALL ( 2008 )

Κοίταξε, είναι λίγο παράξενο αυτό το ταξίδι που θα πάμε τώρα. Δεν χρειάζεται καμία βαλίτσα, τσάντα ή σακβουαγιάζ. Το μόνο που πρέπει να έχεις είναι καθαρό μυαλό και ν' αφήσεις τη φαντασία σου να κυκλοφορεί ελεύθερη, χωρίς λουρί και αλυσίδες.

Το trailer του «The Fall» που ανέβηκε από το IGN, είναι μια πολύ ιδιαίτερη περίπτωση (Προσωπικά, μου θύμισε το συναίσθημα που ένιωσα όταν πρωτοείδα αυτό της ασύλληπτης «Πηγής της ζωής» του Ντάρεν Αρονόφσκι). To «The Fall» καταρχάς έχει παραγωγούς τους Ντέιβιντ Φίντσερ και Σπάικ Τζόνζι. Κατά δεύτερον, γεννήθηκε στο μυαλό του Νταν Γκιλρόι και του Νίκου Σουλτανάκη κι αργότερα μετουσιώθηκε σε κινηματογραφικά καρέ από τον Ταρσέμ Σινγκ, τον ιδιόμορφο σκηνοθέτη του δαιδαλώδους «Κελιού». Το καλύτερο της υπόθεσης είναι, τώρα, ότι ο κάθε θεατής μπορεί να βγάλει τα δικά του συμπεράσματα από το trailer.

Καθώς ταξιδεύουμε θα συναντήσουμε σ' ένα νοσοκομείο ένα μικρό κορίτσι με σπασμένη κλείδα, το οποίο γνωρίζει κάποιον κλινήρη. Εκείνος θ' αρχίζει να της διηγείται μια ιστορία που έχει συμβεί στο μακρινό παρελθόν και ξαφνικά η πραγματικότητα θα μπερδευτεί με το φανταστικό. Ο αφηγητής και η ακροάτρια θα συμμετέχουν παράλληλα και στους δύο κόσμους και θ' αρχίσει ένα brain game για ισχυρούς λύτες.

Pirates of the Caribbean 4 in 2011

The rumors of Pirates 4 continue.

Today AICN has posted an update saying the movie will be coming in 2011.

Their scooper says:

In regards to PIRATES, two dramatically conflicting assessments about how a fourth film might be approached have been making the rounds. Some indications suggest the film's story would be far more contained than its predecessors, allowing for a budget-friendly downsizing.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, there's been unsubstantiated talk that a fourth film would go the other way completely...think in terms of ultra fantastical (dinosaurs, Jules Verne-esque floating fortresses, etc.) Not sure how I feel about either notion, to be honest. Not sure if I even care to see a fourth PIRATES film at all.

Disney's Future is Full of Sequels Galore!

An interesting scoop has popped up over at AICN that claims that in 2011, Disney will be bringing us four new sequels! Included amongst them are Tron 3D, Cars 2, Pirates of the Caribbean 4, and National Treasure 3. Has even Disney ran out of original ideas? Or is this just a case of building off of guaranteed successful franchises so they can support more original ideas? No matter what the case, all but just about one of these (Tron 3D) makes me go "huh?" when asking why they'd even consider these.

Their scooper didn't provide them with too many details, which not only means that this isn't a very solid scoop (and probably a big rumor), but considering 2011 is three years away, most of this will probably change by then anyway. However, what does sound fairly official is that Disney is at least trying to plan for these four sequels by 2011, if not before or after.

Back in September last year, we brought you the news that Joseph Kosinski had been signed to direct "the next chapter" of Tron. Our guess is that this means Tron 3D is the "next chapter" and that they're going to dabble in 3D this time around instead of just focusing on a straight sequel. Well there goes all the good geeky values of the original movie. I can tell you right now that by trying to develop this movie for 3D, it's going to lose all of the great storytelling values it should have in exchange for cheap gimmicks. Especially Tron, with the lightcycles and everything.

As for Cars 2, this is one of the more interesting possibilities to come out of this. We've already heard that they're putting out the entire Toy Story trilogy in 3D, with Toy Story 3D arriving in 2010. Even Brad Bird has said that "Pixar does not look at sequels as a financial plan" and they rarely consider them, give or take Toy Story. But if there was one other movie that I would expect them to possibly consider making a sequel for, it would be The Incredibles. Cars was even Pixar's lowest box office performer ever - so how does this make sense? But SlashFilm has reported rumors about a Cars sequel previously, so maybe it is legit.

And finally, both National Treasure 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean 4 seem almost inevitable. The second National Treasure made $43 million more at the box office last December (for a total of $216 million) than the first movie. And the third (and supposedly final) Pirates of the Caribbean made $309 million at the box office last summer, which was $114 million less than the second film. Either way you look at it, both films made more than enough money to warrant sequels - and it would seem likely that Disney would want to continue both of them.

Jim Hill of Jim Hill Media reported last month that the plot for National Treasure 3 might involve sending "the Gates family off to Easter Island and beyond in search of Atlantis. More importantly, the pure, clean power source that was supposedly lost forever when this ancient civilization sank beneath the sea. Which - were it to be harnessed today - would immediately put an end to global warming. Not to mention making gas & oil obsolete."

As for Pirates of the Caribbean 4, two plot rumors have surfaced, including one involving a journey to find the lost city of Atlantis (didn't we just mention this?), and the other involving an apparently "less expensive" search for the Fountain of Youth (as seen on the map at the end of the third movie). The big question here, though, is whether anyone even wants another Pirates of the Caribbean movie. But the sad fact of the matter is that even if they make it, the movie is going to make money, a lot of it, no matter what you and I think.

I'm curious to know whether this plan for numerous sequels in 2011 seems that terrible or if it just seems like Disney is (appropriately) taking advantage of successful franchises that they've created? All four of the films mentioned above could turn out to be enjoyable popcorn summer flicks, so I'm not too worried. Disney doesn't exactly have the worst track record, but they might be going too far this time. We'll be sure to update you on Disney's official plans for the future once we know more.

Platinum Dunes Eyeing Rosemary's Baby Remake

Platinum Dunes is in talks with Paramount Pictures to update the Roman Polanski-directed Rosemary's Baby, which was based on Ira Levin's 1967 horror novel and hit theaters in 1968.

Ο Αυστραλός ηθοποιός θα εμφανιστεί στο ρόλο του ντετέκτιβ Εϊμπερλάιν, ο οποίος καταδιώκει τον λυκάνθρωπο Λόρενς Τάλμποτ, με τον 'Αντονι Χόπκινς να υποδύεται το ρόλο του πατέρα του πρωταγωνιστή.

Ο Τζαντ 'Απατοου, που ήταν πίσω από τις μεγάλες επιτυχίες "Superbad", "Παρθένος 40 ετών και "Με την πρώτη", σχεδιάζει το επόμενο βήμα του με μία ακόμα κωμωδία. Η ομάδα πίσω από την ήδη έτοιμη αλλά ακυκλοφόρητη ακόμα κωμωδία "Forgetting Sarah Marshall", θα επανενωθεί για το "Five-year engagement", την ιστορία ενός ζευγαριού και τις δυσκολίες που αντιμετωπίζουν μετά τον αρραβώνα τους. "Είναι σίγουρα άλλη μία επέκταση της επιθυμίας μας να εξερευνήσουμε το βάθος της ανθρώπινης μιζέριας", αστειεύτηκε ο σκηνοθέτης.


Εν τω μεταξύ, ο Πολ Ντέινο του πρόσφατου "Θα χυθεί αίμα" θα πρωταγωνιστήσει σε νέα ανεξάρτητη ρομαντική κομεντί, με τον τίτλο "Gigantic", μαζί με τη Ζόι Ντεσανέλ. Θα υποδυθεί ένα πωλητή στρωμάτων που συναντά και ερωτεύεται μία κοπέλα που γνωρίζει στο μαγαζί στο οποίο εργάζεται. Την ταινία θα σκηνοθετήσει ο πρωτοεμφανιζόμενος Ματ 'Ασελτον.

Σύμφωνα με το Variety, ο Τζόναθαν Ρις Μέγιερς, γνωστός από το "Καν’ το σαν τον Μπέκαμ" και το "Match Point", αλλά και από το τηλεοπτικό "The tudors", έχει υπογράψει για να συμμετέχει στο νέο θρίλερ στο οποίο πρωταγωνιστεί η Τζουλιάν Μουρ. Λεπτομέρειες για την πλοκή δεν έχουν διαρρεύσει, ούτε για τους ρόλους που θα ερμηνεύσουν οι δύο ηθοποιοί. Την ταινία, που έχει τον τίτλο "Shelter", θα σκηνοθετήσουν οι Σουηδοί σκηνοθέτες Μανς Μάρλιντ και Μπιόρν Στάιν ("Storm") από σενάριο του Μάικλ Κούνι ("Identity"), και τα γυρίσματα ξεκινούν τον Μάρτιο.

Τωρα που κυκλοφορησε το dvd στην αμερικη στα extras περιεχει πως επρεπε να ειναι το finale της ταινιας !!!
