Rouvy Adds Zwift Cog/Click/Ride Virtual Shifting: Battle Royale Begins?

Rouvy has just done what everyone has been asking for: Added virtual shifting to Rouvy, using Zwift hardware*. This allows you to use virtual shifting in Rouvy, just the same as Zwift, using the Zwift Click or Zwift Ride

Μας έστειλε εψές email το Rouvy και μας ενημέρωσε σχετικώς. Όντως καλή εξέλιξη διότι εντάσσει εκτός των άλλων στη πλατφόρμα και το στατικό ποδήλατο της zwift που πουλάει σαν ζεστό κουλούρι

Εμένα μου λείπει κάτι άλλο στο θκόμ set up, θα ήθελα επιτέλους να εμφανίζονται οι ταχύτητες της di2 στη οθόνη, αυτή η shimano πρέπει να ρίξει λίγο νερό στο κρασί και να δώσει άδεια στις προπονητικές πλατφόρμες, ηλεκτρονικές ταχύτητες έχουν πλέον όλοι κυρά shimano, δεν είσαι μοναδική στο είδος όπως παλιά, ξεκαβάλα το καλάμι επιτέλους!!
Ειδικά στο rouvy λείπει, τα υψομετρικά είναι πολύ ρεαλιστικά και κοιτάω σακάτ αρκετές φορές για να εντοπίσω σε ποιά ταχύτητα είμαι σύμφωνα με το κλινόμετρο που παρακολουθώ, όπως δλδ κάνω και στο δρόμο.

Με την ενεργοποίηση του virtual gearing με το Zwift Click στο Rouvy, νομίζω θα έχεις αυτή την πληροφορία στην οθόνη (κάπου το λέει στο βίντεο αν πρόσεξα), αφού έτσι κι αλλιώς αυτό αλλάζει τις ταχύτητες αν το χρησιμοποιήσεις. Λέω να το παραγγείλω κι εγώ, μπας... και ξανακάτσω λίγο στο ποδήλατο (πολύ βαρεμάρα γενικώς τελευταία).

Ναι, το γράφει πάνω αριστερά (στην εικόνα, λέει ότι είναι στο 7). Στο άρθρο όμως λέει έκανε δοκιμή στο Elite Diretto XR COG (αυτό που έχεις νομίζω, αλλά με το γραναζάκι της Swift) αλλά δεν δούλεψε, δεν είναι ακόμα συμβατό φαίνεται (ή θέλει καλύτερη προσαρμογή).

You’ll notice in the upper left corner is the gearing display (e.g. Gear 16). In this configuration, you’ve got Gears 1-24, and you simply shift through them by pressing the + or – icon on the handlebar. Higher is harder, lower is easier. Just as with Zwift, the responsiveness is instant, and you can very quickly iterate through them. In doing a few test rides, I’m not seeing any difference that I can tell between Zwift and Rouvy here, in terms of responsiveness (and trainer control).

When it comes to the trainers, officially the list is any trainer on the Virtual Shifting compatibility list. But in practice, that’s a bit more variable. Rouvy says they’ve tested all of the Wahoo ones on that list, and those all work. Meanwhile, I tried with the Elite Direto XR COG, and that didn’t work. Inversely, I tried with the Decathlon D100, and that *did* work.

Πάντως εμένα με βολεύει πολύ, γιατί ειδικά στη χρήση του μικρότερου γραναζιού (11αρι) έχω αρκετούς "συντονισμούς" και θόρυβο στο Wahoo Kickr (σε συνδυασμό με το ποδήλατο μου, μπορεί με άλλο να είναι αλλιώς), αλλά όχι τέτοιο θέμα στο 14αρι (που νομίζω αντιστοιχεί με το Cog). Οπότε πέρα από τα άλλα θέματα που λύνει (κλικ, κλακ, κλακ, αλλαγές, κλπ, συμβατότητες κασετών και γραναζιών, αφού με το Cog νομίζω μπορώ να βάλω και το MTB χωρίς να πάρω άλλη κασέτα) λύνει κι αυτό!

Και γλυτώνεις όλη τη φθορά των εξαρτημάτων αφού μπορείς να αντικαταστήσεις τις σχέσεις ηλεκτρονικά.
